Handmade pottery for people who notice things.

Hi, I’m Mia. I’m a potter based in Burlington, Vermont, making small-batch ceramics inspired by the natural world, daily rituals, and the oddly comforting chaos of being a person. Everything I make is designed to be used - held, sipped from, and stared into while overthinking something you said in 2018.

Perfect for anyone who’s ever made eye contact with a mug and thought, “Yeah… you get me.”

What I Offer

I make things slowly, intentionally, and with a lot of care—and sometimes a little chaos. Whether you're looking for a one-of-a-kind gift, something useful and handmade for your daily rituals, or a creative way to team up, here’s what I offer:

  • Handmade ceramics for daily rituals and quiet moments. I throw each piece on the wheel in small batches-no two are alike, and that's kind of the point. Mugs, bowls, and other forms of useful beauty. Dishwasher safe, emotionally supportive. Choose from what I have available or contact me for a commission.

  • Looking for something special, a little weird, and made with real hands? I take commissions for mugs, cups, and other custom pieces—great for birthdays, weddings, breakups, and other occasions that deserve a handmade object. Tell me what you need, I’ll make it clay.

  • I love working with other artists. I throw the form, you add your magic—illustration, carving, underglaze design, anything. Then I glaze and fire it. Perfect for fellow makers, illustrators, or weirdos with a vision. Let’s make something neither of us could make alone.

Support me in person!

Online shopping not your thing? You can find a rotating collection of my mugs for sale at Village Wine and Coffee in Shelburne, Vermont - where I also make a mean cappuccino. The stand is self-serve: cash, check, or Venmo only (no cards). Come browse while you grab a coffee.

I’ll also be out and about at various markets throughout the summer and fall. Keep an eye on my socials for updates on where I’ll be and when!
